Students got the chance to examine some exciting career paths just before half term at our Unlock Cyber Careers event.
This event was attended by students studying Computer Science, Cyber Security and Esports. Students had chosen the companies they wanted to learn more about and included sessions from:
- Immersive Labs – a world-leading company that helps organisations assess, build and prove their cyber workforce resilience. Their cyber security labs evaluate individual and team capabilities against the latest cyber threats. Students found this session particularly interesting and were able to access the simulation software to explore within the lesson today as a follow up.
- British Army – representatives talked about different jobs roles and routes available within the army.
- BAE Systems – a global defence and security supplier and a world-leading innovator in air, maritime, land and cyber domains. It is the largest defence company in the UK.
