    Dear Parents and Carers, We are pleased to invite you to our Supporting Success Evening, taking place on Monday 19 October, from 4:00pm to 5:15pm. Please follow the link below to complete the attendance form and confirm whether you will be attending the event. Year 11 and Year 13 Supporting Success Evening The evening is designed to provide parents and carers of our Year 11 and Year 13 students with practical advice, guidance and support to help students prepare successfully for their upcoming examinations and next steps. What to expect 4:00pm – 4:45pm | Department Support Stands – Canteen During the first part of the evening, Heads of Department and members of staff will be available in the canteen for parents and carers to speak with. This will be an opportunity to: Ask questions about your child's subjects and upcoming assessments. Find out how you can support revision at home. Discover useful revision resources and where students can access them. Discuss subject-specific support and guidance.     As the festive season begins, we'd love to welcome our former Year 11 and Year 13 students back to UTC Swindon for a special Mince Pie Meet Up on Thursday 3rd December, from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. The event is an opportunity to collect your examination certificates from the previous academic year, an important milestone and a chance to celebrate all that you achieved during your time with us. Once you've collected your certificates, stay for a mince pie, catch up with former classmates and staff, and share what you've been up to since leaving UTC. Whether you've moved on to sixth form, college, university, an apprenticeship or the world of work, we'd love to hear how you're getting on.
