Trust Student Admissions Coordinator

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and professional admissions experience for prospective families. You’ll be the central point of contact for admissions, working closely with school leadership and administrative teams to deliver consistent processes and exceptional customer service.

Attendance & Engagement, Admissions Officer

Contract Type: Part-time / Term-time plus 1 week (for INSET Days)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Spine Point 11 (£28,142) Full Time Equivalent

Actual Salary:  £25,272

Start Date: As soon as possible

UTC Swindon is seeking a dynamic and highly organised Attendance & Engagement, Admissions Officer to join our dedicated team.

This role is to help manager and monitor all matters relating to attendance and admissions working closely with the Assistant Principal, Attendance Manager, Pastoral Team, SLT and Form Tutors.

The successful candidate will need to have:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in the school environment
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people

    ABOUT US

    The UTC opened in September 2014 with a new approach to educating 14-19 year olds; through a focus on technical subjects that bridge the gap between the world of education and the world of work.

    All students at UTC Swindon specialise in either Engineering, Digital or Cyber Security; at 14 they also study a rich, balanced curriculum and at post 16 the curriculum becomes more specialist. At capacity, we will be educating 600 students who will all have a passion for Engineering or Digital; it truly is an inspirational environment. 

    We pride ourselves on our strong team, unique curriculum, excellent training and flexible work opportunities. We are passionate about providing the best opportunities for our staff and our young people.  

    Our school hours are 8.30am to 4pm. UTC Swindon is centrally located with excellent transport links close by.
