Second session for BMW Group Mentoring Scheme

Yesterday saw the second session of the BMW Group mentoring programme delivered to KS5 students at UTC Swindon.

The subject for this session was STEM Insights. The first half of the afternoon was spent discussing areas of specific technology at BMW, with students sharing the technologies they were most passionate about. An independent careers investigation then followed, looking at professional institutions to identify those that will best support the careers of students in their specialisms.

The second half of the session saw each student present a technology that interested them. This did not need to be related to their current area of studies, and was a good opportunity for students to demonstrate their level of knowledge on a subject of their own choosing.

We would like to thank the BMW mentors for leading yet another successful session and look forward to the next one.
