Teacher of Engineering/Design Technology
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Engineering/Product Design who can teach KS4 and KS5 Engineering to join our University Technical College (UTC) a 14-19 Secondary school specialising in Engineering and Digital Technologies.
The right candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong behaviour management skills that can build relationships with our young people. They will have the ability to teach engineering or product design to GCSE and BTEC Level 3. We are able to support ECT teachers.
The post could be tailored to suit a candidate that has a product design, maths or physics experience. The courses offered are OCR Cambridge National Level 2 and BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering Level 3.
This role will provide you with:

Learning Support Assistant
We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to join our committed team in supporting our students aged 14-19. You will ensure that the students can integrate as fully as possible in the activities generally undertaken by their peers in the class and make progress.
Duties will include the running specific programmes and activities to assist the students’ individual learning and social needs in liaison with the class teachers and the iHub Coordinator.
You will have high expectations and be dedicated to student progress, with a strong belief that understanding a student is key to motivating their learning. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area. Managing behaviour is an integral part of this role which requires you to be self-assured with the ability to deal with sometimes challenging situations.

Catering Assistant – Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
We have an exciting opportunity for a catering assistant to join our friendly café team at UTC Swindon. This role is term time only working 4 hours per day, Monday – Friday from 10:00am – 2:00pm.

Exam Invigilator
We are seeking to recruit Examination Invigilators to provide supervision of internal and external examinations throughout the year. The successful candidate will be calm, organised and approachable with a key role in upholding the integrity of the examinations process. The position is ideally suited to an individual who is punctual with a flexible attitude and who will be available at short notice. The individual must also be able to commit to being available to invigilate for the 6 weeks of the summer exam series.
