Year 13 student Marcin joined UTC Swindon in Year 12 to study computer science and IT, after seeking a more specialist college that offered technical studies.
“I looked around for other sixth forms and colleges but none were as specialist as UTC Swindon, so they couldn’t really compare”.
“My experience so far has been really good. I enjoy what we are being taught as I have a passion for it, and you get a lot of independence and treated like an adult. We manage our own time, so if we need to work from home when there are no scheduled lessons, we can.”
“Coming to this UTC has definitely helped me prepare for my future. I want to either be a Junior Programmer or Network Consultant, but will keep my options open for apprenticeships. If you want to study IT, engineering or digital technology, don’t go anywhere else!”
