Thinking about your School and Sixth Form options for September 2019?

Gain a glimpse of University Technical College (UTC) life this Saturday 2 February at our Open Event.

New and prospective students are able to sign up for a free 45-minute taster session in either engineering or digital technology at 10.30 and 11.30am, which will involve using STEM skills in practical tasks for these specialist technical subjects.

The Open Event will be running from 10am to 1pm where our current students and staff will be welcoming you in, taking you on a tour of the cutting-edge facilities, and answering any questions you may have. The event is open to all prospective students and their family and friends, as well as the general public who would like to see what we have to offer.

Future students will get the chance to learn about the courses offered, including the brand new Cyber Security and Digital Technologies courses, as well as take a look at the state-of-the-art Innovation Hub, sponsored by leading industry partner Fujitsu.

There will be a talk from our UTC Principal, Jon Oliver in the Main Hall at 10.30am and again at 11.30am.

Whilst you tour our School, make sure you drop into our main engineering workshop to watch bespoke laser-cut decorations being made and even pick up one of your own to take home! We will also have partner, Wiltshire Police here, so please stop by and have a chat with them about how they work with the UTC and what opportunities that brings.

The event is free but pre-registration is required. Please register here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/utc-swindon-open-event-saturday-2-february-2019-tickets-49735196311
